Interesting read, and should be shared; however there is a problem:
On slide # 5 it states: "Prior to 1989 the term "assault weapon" did not exist in the lexicon of firearms. It is a political term, developed by anti-gun publicists to expand the category of "assault rifles"". Sitting in front of me is a copy of the Gun Digest Book of Assault Weapons, written by Jack Lewis. It was published in 1982. Also in our library is a copy of Guns and Ammo magazine from that same area with the cover story depicting "The New Breed of Assault Rifle".
If you are going to convince even folks who don't yet take sides on the gun issue, GET YOUR FACTS IN PROPER ORDER. This alone is a massive fail on the part of the well intentioned author of the slide show.
