ARES ARMOR...stay away from them

Man, I had the worst experience with these guys. For my original order I had to call back multiple times just to see if they shipped it. When I received the order I need to ship back a part. It took over 2 weeks even before I could get a return shipping label. And for my store credit I got I waited 2 weeks before calling to see if the items has been shipped. Surprise, it hasn't been shipped. I talked to one of their managers and he didn't even seem to care. Puts the blame on everything else rather than take ownership of their faults. I am NEVER buying anything from ares armor and for those that are about to you have been warned.

edit: I'm not laughing at your misfortune, rather the promises from Ares that they'd clean up their act and after years of complaints even after changing owners, they still haven't.

People just don't do enough due diligence before going to a store any more I know I've been giluilty of the same thing with north county firearms (will never go back rather go to turners) and Quantico tactical they are all sorts of screwed up.
I did however learn early in that ares was not a place to do business with

Ares is kinda like Cheaper than dirt. People shop there but don't talk about it much, unless of course there's a problem! The only positive I've heard of that place is going there in person. Considering they've been watched, filmed etc for years, who would bother?

Maybe it's the catchy name. Extensive list of quality vendors to buy from around here. Start with RIFLEGEAR & Rainierarms.

Old news. Use search function, there is a lot of info on the old owner/founder Dimitri Karras. He likes to take it to extremes to the point where he does more harm than good for CA gun owners.

And that's was why I tried to keep calm while talking to them. I wasn't really angry till it happened the third time. It wasn't even their customer service manager I was talking to. I had some higher up guy, forgot his name, and he didn't even seem to care that they failed me with their service. He even said that it was an isolated incident. It was so isolated that the same issue, happened to the same customer, the only three times this customer dealt with them. Terrible company. Calguns.net market place has better customer service than them.

I have never had a problem with them....but then again I have never done business with them....I listen to you guys.
