Yeah I can't wait till it opens. Everytime I stop by Babies R Us it looks like they are going pretty fast.

I'm not sure when but they had a special on a 700 varmit complete with rings and scope for less then 500.

Nice...was this at Dick's? I don't get it though...is this varmint special a grand opening sale?

Hopefully Dicks will sell firearms in CA. They have some nice stuff and great sales every week. Someone mentioned it was comparable to Big 5 and it's kinda true. Dicks has a much larger selection and about every other week, all ammo is on sale or buy 1 box and get the 2nd 50% off. There's an AR for sale in the Charlottesville, VA Dicks, but no C&R stuff. Everything is new. Other than that, it's another sporting goods store. You can buy expensive golf clubs or stink bait and everything in between. I miss going to Big 5 since I moved to VA, so I go to Dicks now.

I think they are going to. I get to watch them build it every day. I watched that damn lot be nothing but dirt being pushed around for 2 years before they finally started building. Makes my driving in circles all day a little more pleasant Can't wait til they are done. They should be painting by next week by the looks of things.

Sports Authority in Concord has rifles and shotguns, and a meager selection of ammo, NO handguns.

And they make you record your driver's license information, address, and type of ammo being purchased in a log book for the county. Which is why I will never buy ammo from them again.

Of course, they will have a hard time finding MR I C Pee at FU Lane if they ever checked that book....

Strange. I only knew of Sac city doing this... this occur at all FFL's in your county or only at TSA?

They are opening one up down the street from me... do they carrry fireams? anyone been to one? They are getting a HUGE shop out here in Santa Clarita but ive never been to one before.

I've been to the one in UT and they mostly have hunting long guns and some ammo. Definitely a bit better than Big 5.

the store is next to the wall mart on carl Boyer street. It's in that new development where the bridge is on Soledad.

It is off of Carl boyer Dr. It is basically impossible to give you detail of how to get there as it is in the hill. I will try though. If you are going on Soledad Cnyn Rd TOWARDS Sierra Hwy, turn left onto Ruether then immediately right onto Golden Triangle (Golden Triangle runs parallel to Soledad but on the other side of the rail road tracks). You turn left (there is no road name sign here just like there are none for this area right here) right after you pass the business that sells furniture and go up the hill. This is how you will know that you are going the right way, it is the only way that goes up a steep hill. Once you hit the stop sign, you turn left. You will know you are in the right place because you will see the construction at the 4 way stop. There is no way to not see it.

True indeed my friend, though I would be a little worried about them shutting down. I can't imagine how they are paying the bills there with little cash coming into the store. I do all my shopping for my son at wally world
