These repeated horror stories are why I've always found someone else to buy whatever I'm looking for.

I had a prolonged ordeal over them shipping me the wrong shotgun. I used to have to call and pretend that I was a LE officer placing an order to not get hung up on. Even still the calls when transferred were lost.

My FFL(Fort Courage Armory) Went above and beyond to get it sorted out. Eventually I called my CC company and had them get me my money back. After I did that Botach quickly dealt with my ffl in getting the wrong shotgun they sent me returned. It took 2 months of them having my money for me to never deal with them again.

I see that name & I think Bozack! Sounds about right. Far too many quality vendors without a history of problems. Riflegear & Rainierarms. Locally Gunfighter & Parallax.

I ordered an acog once, because they had the best deal around, and thankfully everything went well.

I always avoided them because of reviews. I still would never try ordering a gun from them.

My question is, why couldnt your ffl just install the bullet button, albeit the wrong one anyways?

He stated that his FFL didn't allow him to receive the weapon without the BB installed. I didn't understand the issue, but decided not to press him as Botach charged me for it and the install.

Oh, something about an assault weapons permit?

If the mag catch/lock is not even installed , how can it be a problem? If a magazine isnt attachable to begin with, how can it be detachable?

                      Just sillyness i guess.

One of those conversations that make you scratch your head. Realizing arguing was a waste of time & energy, i just went with the flow. Figured I'd waited that long for it, I'd wait a few more days.

I dealt with Botach Tactical back in the 90's when I was working at Bumblebee Wholesale (the distributor half of B & B Sales) and saying that they were difficult to deal with would be a gross understatement. We rapidly reached the point where we simply refused to sell to them and for a distributor to cut off a retailer, that retailer had to REALLY screw up.

Sounds like little has changed over the years. One has to wonder how they stay in business with such wretched customer service.

The universe may be in the process of correcting that little oversight.
