Midway coupon codes: you ever split your order to benefit?

Seems dumb, but have to ask. @ $15 off per $100, and $6 to ship, and a $300 order, I can get a $15 discount up front, or split into three orders which costs an extra $12 in shipping but could apply the discount twice for $30 more savings. so I net $18 positive.

Theoretically. For a $300 order that's an extra 5% savings. If it would work, that is.

Would it work? anyone ever do that just to save a buck? am I being silly over two days of lunches?

Depends on what the details of the discount actually are. Do they let you use the discount on the same account multiple times?

edit: I guess you're talking about the $15 off $100 for new customers at the top of the page on the website right now? Says it can only be used once. You could try creating multiple accounts, but they could also just claim they're multiple accounts and delete them.

Yes, it's worth it. 2-days of lunch is important. food is important. also, that's about 1 box of 9mm/45acp, so YES important savings

What did Midway customer service say when you called their toll-free number to ask?

All the time, the coupon codes can be used again and again.

I also add something from the "free shipping" area, usually this:

to further reduce my overall cost. By adding the above mentioned item, you will see a huge difference in shipping costs as opposed to not adding it, try it and see. I saved $12 in shipping costs one time by adding that cheap $4 item. So in a sense, I got it for free and saved an additional $8 bucks.

Also, the new customer VAT's work for existing customers....each and every time!!!

If the coupon code will work multiple times then go for it. My wife and I split our purchases all the time at places like Big5, Macy's, JC Penny and Harbor Freight to take advantage of savings codes.

You can try it, but last week I tried to use the same coupon code 2 days in a row at Midway and the second time it gave a message "code already used maximum amount of times for this account"
