    ^^^ Same rules apply The part with the serial number is considered a firearm. The upper or extra barrels in the case of a T/C Encore for example are not firearms and would not need to be in a case etc locked or unlocked.
    A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.
