I just got a blade-tech holster for my G26. I like it. Ordered thru Amazon though, so I didn't get my .mil discount.

Made to order???? You can't be serious???

I bought both of mine from MidwayUSA, off the shelf. They're available at many other places also.

Made to order.......thanks for the chuckle.

My brother bought his at turners, but it wasn't the competition version. I didn't see the competition version available anywhere else for the XD 4", so I ordered direct and it took 3-4 weeks. The Ruger MkIII Hunter 6 7/8" version took 4-8 weeks to be made, and was not a regularly stocked item for them (also ordered direct).

It looks like the most popular are available from other re-sellers, but they make models for many guns. I couldn't imagine them stocking multiples or even one for every gun they have a pattern for.

Glad you found them from a retailer, but if your gun isn't some common variety owned by every other Average Joe (1911, Glock 17, S&W M&P), and assuming you are talking about they kydex OWB holsters (not the cheap thermofilled plastic models), you'll have to order from Blade-Tech direct. In that case, many of their holsters are made-to-order since they don't want to keep an excess inventory for less-common guns like a S&W 686 3" revolvers or 6" 1911 pistol. Even my M&P Pro (5") holster took three weeks to ship when I ordered it two years ago.

I'm not kidding, WTF does the OP read like a press release for a company? If you are happy with their product, use your own words not a cut and paste from their website. If they would like to advertise or sponsor on this website, I'm sure Kes would be happy to take their money.

Is there junk Kydex being slung out there? I had a OWB Kydex made from a guy selling in the Marketplace a year or so ago. For a Glock 17. Took him 1 week, it's been perfect.
There's a local guy in San Diego. Ive got 2 IWBs for my 26 and 19 plus an OWB for a 1911. All have been fine.
All mentioned above have been much less than online/shops. Minus a complete breakdown, I don't see how a Kydex holster could cause such gratitude

                • Wide range of gun models supported
                • Variety of changeable backplate (regular OWB, tek-lock, drop-and-offset)
                • Variety magazine pouches
                • Very consistent quality control

Additionally, every garage-based Kydex holster manufacturer makes this style of holster:

Which is great if you want the gun pulled in tight for concealment. But if you want a holster for competition, the Blade-Tech style positions the gun for a faster draw.
