Been searching for a full size M&P 22 for a while, so I placed an ad on armslist. After a few flakes and LOTS of people trying to sell me their MP 15-22 I finally got someone who has one. Says it has three mags and maybe 200-300 thru the gun but wants to trade and not looking to sell....FML!!! So the only pistols I'd consider letting go would be the SD40VE and my new EMP, which I got about three months ago and shot maybe 50 rounds thru it. Send pics of the EMP, he says he likes it and he also has a Sig P220 in 45. After a few pics back and forth and phone calls he says he will trade strait across for my emp for his Sig P220 and the M&P 22. Just finished the ppt and the wait begins.

I agree. Seems about 3 out of 4 inquiries are scams or flakes. Better than the 9 out of 10 on Craigslist, though. Beware the Nigerian marine engineer!

Sometimes to get what you want, or a rare or hard to find item, you have to deal with some kooks before you get to 1 legit seller. That can be so worth it.

Other guy was happy with the deal, I am stoked on the deal. Glad he didn't see the new P220 sitting in the case with a 899 sticker on it. I was only after the MP, but I couldn't turn that deal down.

I've honestly sold more on armslist then I have in the marketplace here but as far as buying goes I won't even attempt it anymore. I'm out of the country and would need a money order is usually how contact starts with people selling on there.
