    Custom Earplugs?

Anyone have a recommendation for custom ear plugs in the Greater LA area? I'm leaning towards going through an Audiologist however my local shop (Valencia) quoted $400 plus for simple plugs with a filter. I'm trying to decide if there is a significant enough difference between this option and say something like these http://www.fbearplugs.com/earplugs.html or the ones you see being made at the gun shows. I found a couple older threads here but was hoping someone has a more recent experience. Any input is appreciated.

Got my customs @ Smokin Barrel in Simi. $75 for standard, $115 for filters.

Got mine at the sac gun show a while back. Cheap and they work great.

Ear Plugs USA, fit by Linda. She does a great job and travels the gun show circuit.

          Has anyone tried these?

Are there better fit-at-home earplugs available?

I had a pair made at a show and I did not like them... I ended up tossing them and going back to the 33 DB disposable foam plugs... they always felt too big in my ears.... The Foamies were more comfortable to me....
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

If you go through an Audiologist then you can use a HSA to pay for them. Perhaps an added plus.
