selling a lever action on GB

Whats are the shipping requirements for me to sell a Lever action on GB as far as shipping. Can i personally send it directly to an ffl in another state? If within calif i would assume i have to have an ffl ship to an FFL? or not?

Most of the time it depends on the receiving FFL I've been able to ship straight to them after I get a copy of their license, I used UPS. In state or out of state.

Keep in mind that a private person (non FFL) can use the US Postal Service to ship long guns. I have found that the Post Office is often less expensive than either FedEx or UPS.

Click the link. A cut and paste from the Postal regulations re. shipping a firearm. If you have a concern, it may not be a bad idea to bring a copy of the appropriate Postal Regulation with you.

"Except under 431.2, unloaded rifles and shotguns are mailable. Mailers must comply with the rules and regulations under 27 CFR, Part 478, as well as state and local laws. The mailer may be required by the USPS to establish, by opening the parcel or by written certification, that the rifle or shotgun is unloaded and not ineligible for mailing. "

As others have indicated its easy. I also verify the FFL with the ATF web site to make sure the license and address is legit.
