LGS; goes above and beyond

Hey Calguns, I wanted to give a public thank you to my local gun shop Gunfighter Tactical in San Diego for doing what I think was going above and beyond for a customer. I finally got my dream rifle, a scar 17s, for my birthday and for some reason my girlfriend was insistent that I take her when I go to pick it up . She kept saying she wanted to buy me some ammo as a gift and even though I was thinking it was strange I figured, sweet free ammo. When I arrived to pick up my new toy there was a couple gift wrapped packages out waiting on the corner of the counter. I didn't think much about it but when they put out my rifle adjacent to them and motioned toward to gifts I was a little confused. My girlfriend had seen my ocd go crazy over the last 10 days obsessively focusing on what optic to get for my new toy. She called and spoke with Lee and the guys at Gunfighter Tactical and figured out the optic I was going to order. Not only did they help my girlfriend surprise me with my new Acog, they helped my girlfriends mother when she called in from out of state to order me a couple magazines. Plus, they had it all there on my pick up date, nicely gift wrapped for me. ( If they are anything like me it must have been hilarious to watch a bunch of gun guys trying to gift-wrap....) I was really stoked, but more importantly they gave my girlfriend, and my girlfriend's mother, the opportunity to do something really nice for me, which I think was really cool. Plus when my girlfriends mother found out that the guys had wrapped the gifts she was really stoked. So big thank you to the guys at Gunfighter tactical, this is why I think it is cool to have a local gun shop where people know you. So do me a favor and go spend your money there because they will treat you well whether you are ordering high dollar rifle or doing a ppt. Consistent and great customer service, I as a happy customer appreciate it.

Wow, happy birthday. I would marry that girlfriend of yours if I were you. Such a keeper and nothing beats that in terms of love and care. Great soon to be mother in law, I take it? Haha

It's nice to hear about the awesome service at your LGS. That level of service is rare nowadays. Your GF sounds like a keeper and she knows it. She just bought you an ACOG and got her mom to buy you some mags....

You know what this means right? She'll be expecting an engagement ring sometime soon most likely. And I'm thinking she's expecting one that can buy more than a couple of SCAR's!
