    Exile Machines 3D printed compliance grip

    This Will be a review of exile machines 3D printable ar15 wrap grip.

                  Printing gun parts? State dept gonna shut you down for sure... Inquiring minds want to know: material, layer height, infill%, slicer used, how are you sticking it to the bed, etc.
                  Oh and digging the Christmas tree green color!

                    Material: Pla
                    Layer height: .23mm
                    Infill: 20%
                    Slicer: Cura
                    Sticking it to the bed via a normal glass plate at 64degrees Celsius. you have to keep the glass perfectly clean or it wont stick.

                      All finished! Came out great! Can't wait to try it out. This really is not all that different than a standard pistol grip!

                            Looks good. We do recommend a 70% infill for strength but that'll definitely increase your print time. For sticking to the bed we have had really good luck with polyvinyl acetate (aka elmer's white glue) diluted 1 part glue to 5 parts water. Coat the glass with the solution, let dry and PLA sticks like crazy. We use an infrared thermometer throughout the print cycle to ensure a solid 60C temp at the bed surface.

                              Wow you guys are thorough haha. If I do 70% infill the print will droop. And the glass alone is good enough to where I can only remove the print using a small mallet.
