Go buy a stripped lower if you can't do it yourself.
That my friend is what the law says...do it all yourself.
You can't come onto a forum and ask others to do questionable things.
And thousands of people have completed 80%er's all the time...what's your problem ??

you can ask questions and such, but you can't receive any physical assistance and even borrowing tools is questionable....
so if you can detail exactly how you screwed up, someone should be able to explain how to not screw it up the next time...
my advice would be to follow the directions that came with your jig and go slow.my Benitez goes to 11Comment

what jig are you using? the 80% arms jig, and probably others, come with a gauge to make sure you don't cut too deep.
i've made that same mistake before and was able to repair the lower using some sheet metal and JB weld...my Benitez goes to 11Comment

Make sure the collar is tight. Depth gauge included on jig. Watch the video and mark hole sequence on jig with a sharpie. Tape rear section.

Yup. I know many people have fixed the holes as a result of drilling through the bottom by using JB Weld. Depending on the size of the hole you might do best using a small piece of scrap aluminum to help fill the hole. The JB Weld repairs seem to be holding up just fine on the lowers I'm familiar with. You can even re-drill the correct trigger holes through the repair."Show me a young conservative and I'll show you a man without a heart.
