The US has the Most Guns per Capita and at that we're almost the lowest in the Murder Rate per Capita....Check out this video by Bill Whittle. Washington DC has the highest murder rate by firearms per capita and the lowest gun owner rate per capita. I posted them in a different thread,

Death by firearms 16.5 per 100,000 people.
Gun Ownership 3.6%

It is accurate. There is a state by state rundown at the bottom of the page. All states have been lowered in murder rate in in the last 20 years to pre 1970s level. More police seem to coincide with these numbers if you look at the 15% increase on the early 90s and the 25% increase in the 2000s. Gun control has naught to do with it.
