    looking to Identify this Bayonet

I found this Bayonet in my closet and I was wondering if anyone knows what gun it goes to the #s match on the knife and sheath.

        It's the scabbard...

        Ak variant I'd say.

But the scabbard with that yellow material...I'd say unusual. "Usually" = mo' money mo' money.

Make sure it is not, not, not a AK Valmet before you dismiss it as run of the mill 'seen thousands of them in the 70s' offers come in.

The scabbard was Europe's idea of cutting barb wire, and copied by the millions in Asia.

Sometimes the bayonet is real and the scabbard is fake or vice versa. Sometimes civilian copies of military bayonets are more valuable than the real maccoy, sometimes. But I'd make sure. Good Luck.

And sometimes it's just a romanian akm type 2 bayonet.
I picked up a bayonet on saturday that I had won on gunbroker. it was sold as an Izhevsk type two. looking tonight on Tantals web site the markings on the handle suggest that the blade at least is a Romanian AK-74 bayonet. it is 1:30 am where I am. I will post pics in the morning.

Well obviously the solution is to go get a wasr to properly accessorize your bayonet.
