    Shooting gloves?

Its hard to shoot my handgun at times, because of my hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) on my hands. Are there any gloves out there I could use when I shoot, so I could grip it better? Any suggestions or input if anyone else has sweaty hands and how they deal with shooting.

I use the uncle mikes fingerless gloves. They give great support and leave your fingers open to stay cooler and leave them for finer manipulation. the middle fingers are extended to the last knuckle which is cool also.
Ive tried alot of the black hawk junk and it just feels like... well junk. stitching across the tip of the finger makes them uncomfortable and they can be a little bulky.

USCav has 1/2 finger shooting gloves for $10 a pop. Can't vouch for their quality or durability though.....

Regular mil-issue nomex flight gloves work for me. Also pretty good prices at USCav, $18 a pop.

Hatch makes some pretty good gloves from what I've seen, but that might be more than what you're looking for.

      Hope this helps you out.

as said above the mil-spec nomex flight gloves are pretty good. they do not cost much. so cutting the fingertips will help. good luck

Fix the grips. Brownells has insta-grip which works well, there are many others out there that fit specific models, insta-grip is smaller pieces that you can place where you like

I gotta try some of these gloves myself. I've tried a couple and gloves just don't work for me, and maybe it's just the gloves. I'm too conscious of it in my hand.

I hate gloves. Never use them. If I had to use some I would want something very thin and tight fitting. That being said I would try golfing gloves. They are made thin and are made to fit your hand without bunching up which is the problem I see with gloves. Cut the finger/s tip/s off and there ya go.

Just go into a decent bike shop and get riding gloves. I usually look in the bargin bin and find really good gloves for $15-20.

Another is Ironclad work gloves. I think it is their light industrial gloves. Good snug fit, not as lite as shooting gloves but will hold up to pretty good abuse (used them for a 4 day subgun class with Uzis and they worked great), plus they have a built in snot rag on the pack . They also make a carpenters glove with the 1st 2 fingertips cut off.
