Fire arm delay

I have a clean back ground criminal wise. Have tickets for speeding paid all of them. Any reason why the doj would delay me from obtaining my fire arm. It's been 14 days already

you could have a common name (or even an uncommon name) that other "bad" people that are restricted from owning firearms share with you.

when you called your the gun store where you bought the firearm,

what exactly did they tell you?
