Article about Traders sports in East Bay Express?

    "Dealing in Death"
One in eight guns sold at Traders Sports eventually ends up with the police. The feds have been trying to shut down the San Leandro store for decads, but it and its owner may well dodge the bullet once again. By Kara Platoni

Very long and biased article. I'll see if I can use the scanner at work to post it

Heh, I guess they didn't bother mentioning that a gun being "traced" doesn't necessarily mean it was used in a crime...

I'm kinda divided - I personally think it might be nice if 'trace data' were seperated out by whether it's an actual crime gun or just a subject of scrutiny. The problem is that the VPC and such would simply ignore the new stratification, even though more accurate data would be available, in the interests of pumping their numbers.
