    I don't like to clean up, so...

    biodegradable balloons filled with water
    clay pigeons
    fruit & veggies (ask your local store for their "waste" - large melons and squash (esp pumpkins) are the best)


    And, of course, tannerite.

      If you can still find post-halloween pumpkins for free/cheap, get those. Core a 1" hole in the top and fill them with water.

              I prefer empty water bottles filled with shaving cream. You can fill multiple bottles with one can so you have more targets to shoot. Or wait for a $1 sale on Barbasol at Walgreens and just shoot the cans themselves.

                Well, if you have a short attention span or are easily impressed go for Tannerite. I'm still amazed people waste their money on that stuff when it's so much cheaper to make yourself.

                Anyways, I myself love either clay targets or cans/bottle filled with water. Spinning steel targets are always fun too. Watermelons explode nicely from a centerfire rifle. I like the idea of the balloons filled with flour. I might have to try that next time I get out shooting.

                      We picked up a clay target hanging system at the Reno Gun show. It was just some plastic clips that hang clay targets on a rope. This is the only place on-line I could find it. $18 gets you 30 clips and 25' of rope. Just don't shoot the rope.
