Gunsmith for S&W in OC?

Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith in the OC area?

I just bought a used S&W revolver that I'd like to have inspected (and probably a full strip-down clean and lube too).

I was set on taking it to either Bolsa or Evan's, but after reading the less-than-good reviews on here, I figured I should try somewhere else.

Right now I'm thinking Ade's or Bain & Davis. Is one any better than the other, taking into account price, turn-around-time, quality of work? I think I read on here that Ade's gunsmith is there only 1 day a week.

Any other good options? Thanks.

I'd go with Alan Tanaka in Gardena, right near the end of the 91 Freeway. He's a Smith expert.

thanks. I read about him too on here but with his level of expertise I feel like I'd be wasting his time for just an inspection. But I'll give him a call, no harm in asking I guess. As popular as he is, would I be able to get an inspection and cleaning done pretty quickly?
