I was reading the yahoo finance forum for GLD (investments in gold); and this guy just starts goin off about the economy, need for firearms/self defense etc. Pretty out there but a very hilarious read lol - I quoted a few of his posts.
Just be patient, your going to witness the biggest pumping of the USD into the system ever beginning on Day 1 of the Obama depression..the Big three will get theirs, along with everyone else - trillions of dollars will be there for the taking....putting a final nail in the USD coffin...gold won't be for buying and selling it will be for converting into the new currency whatever that may be -
This is going to get bad - however I hope I can have at least another 6 months to accumulate gold and silver...
what is going to make this so bad is that a majority of American's are takers and darwinist's - that combination doesn't bode well for taking care of your fellow man when down - you'll see wholesale looting and home invasion robbery, the middle class (total assets from $250k to $1m) in the middle - still loving the country and wanting to do what is right but being screwed by both ends, HOWEVER, only when you get the middle class white man off his couch and into the fight will things change...
Good luck to you all - a few tips:
buy a rifle that uses common ammo ( .30 cal or .223) I recommend the mini-14 or the Chinese SKS for two reasons #1 you can use the ammo off the dead robber and #2 if you need to dispose of the weapon you won't be dropping a $2000 AR16 into the drink, but a $250 one. (Make sure you wipe down the cartriges BEFORE you load...remember they eject all over the place as will your fingerprints...)
Shotgun for home defense but take your rifle shopping (you'll need the range the rate of fire)
Shine your home lights outward into the yard not inward toward the house like most do now -
Buy a yard dog -
Teach your wife how to load and box ammo on a bench loader - the second income will come in handy. not to mention the access to ammo.
