    tested my 80% today.

Went to the range with my 80% build and 40 rounds to test if the rifle works. And it does, no feed issues no problems. 40/40 out the barrel. Normally I don't get excited over shooting AR's, but I had a smile on my face after every shot. It is a great feeling knowing you are shooting something that was a hunk of metal a few days ago. Way better than shooting something that came from a store. It's official, I am hooked on home builds.

What is that where the trigger pins go? Great looking rifle, and it must feel great knowing you did it yourself.

            Snazzy rifle OP!
Have to say I'm really loving the 80% deal. Makes me want to sell the WASR, Arsenal, Saiga etc and everything else with a serial number to load up on 80% guns.

they are anti-walk pins. the normal pins were a bit loose.

Congratulations, Mossy.. Nice piece. I plan on starting on a couple of 80% I've had for awhile.

Bohoki, those are some very clean lines you have there. If you don't mind giving up your secrets, what are trex guideblocks? I plan on using the EZJIG with a dewalt router. Thanks

trex decking bolted to the drill press table makes the jig slide easily left and right also no splinters

my drill press tops out at about 2800 rpm so using a router that tops out at like 20,000 rpm so you should be able to get it done quicker work over a tarp cause aluminum flakes are gonna go everywhere my garage is a mess

also with a carbide end mill you gonna stay sharp also if you use a router you need an extra long endmill because you need to be above the receiver extension with my shorty i put my chuck danger close to it which is why i love these ones with the takedown pocket already done that way i can stay far away

mine is hss but its cheap

8mm is good cause its a decent radius and it can also do the trigger slot

wow i see modulus has the black ones on sale for about the same as i paid for this red blem
