I had this truglo sight mounted on my ar. It worked well and held its zero for a very long time. I then put it on a rifled shotgun and shot some slugs through it, not the brightest decisions especially with a sight like this. Today I put it on a 40 cal carbine and it wouldn't hold its zero at all and the on off switches aren't working like they're supposed to. It used to work fine with up to .45. I think the slugs just jarred it too much.
Is this sight a lost cause? Worth fixing or just buy a new sight?
I might keep it around just in case I get a 10/22. Or some other 22 rifle.
