My girlfriend brought up a good point the other day. She mentioned to me that with all the changes coming I might want to think about buying a few more firearms that I normally would. Not really news to me with the AWB knocking at our door, the California microstampitng act, etc...
So I started thinking - and maybe because I'm boring - but really I don't see a need or the "coolness" factor of having a wide selection of firearms. I know there's the MP5 clones and stuff like that but It really doesn't feel like there's a whole lot of "advances" out there.
I can't really see myself wanting or needing any more than the following:
- Sentimental S&W .38 J frame that my grandpa left me
- Sentimental Colt .22 rifle that my grandpa left me
- Glock 19
- Kimber Custom II
- Beretta M9A1
- AR-15
- AK-47
- 1919a4
- Remington 700
- Remington 870
- Springfield XD (girlfriend's pistol)
Am I boring? if you had a hefty budget and wanted to stock up on cool rifles/pistols/whatever, what would you buy aside from what's listed above? The reason I ask is because I want to avoid a situation in the future when I'm kicking myself thinking "man I wish I would have known to get a XYZ firearm when I had the chance"
