Matching FDE colors ???

Hi all , picking up a MAG Tactical lower soon , in FDE , the question is ...

so many different shades of FDE out there , commercial FDE or FED STD 595C FDE and other shades , I wrote the Company asking them what color best matches the lower they sell... no reply (yet) ...

anybody have one ?
want to match a stock/handguard/grip to the new lower.

My SCAR 17 came with 3 different shades of FDE. They don't match each other, but it actually would tend to break up the outline of the rifle better. So I guess I don't mind. I know this doesn't answer your question OP, but my point is that maybe you'll still like it if the shades don't match.

You can fix all that non matching stuff with cerakote.

Cool...... how do I find the matching creakote color for a MAG tactical lower...I've got a old set of black handguards/stock/grip that I can paint up.

Fyi, Cerakote FDE is one or two shade darker than Magpul FDE. ask me how i know

I believe you ! I have found 4-5 diff. shades of FDE (maybe more), I'll have to wait till I get the lower in hand before I try to match it up , so far dirka brown looks to be close....A work in progress

Btw, u can request free swatches (strips of thin aluminum) of any colors from cerakote while u wait. It takes about a week to get to you.
