Thats the same price as Turners (ie not a deal).

I would think you can do better.

You're not going to find one for cheap in a retail store in CA. Big time dealers in CA sell maybe 2000 guns a year where in other areas a big time dealer can sell that many guns in a weekend. They don't have the connection that big out of state dealers have and they have to make more profit per gun to stay in business.

You should buy mine - very nice, lots of GI and NM parts, and lots of extras.

          $1300

Bud's Gun Shop in Paris, KY has new synthetic stock standard one right now for 1,181.49. That's as cheap as I've seen one in a while.

                      Wiggawam,

Not bad, they're pretty busy there and normally take about 5-7 days to ship but they're pretty good about emailing you a tracking number so you can see when it shows up at the FFL.

                      daskraut,

You have a 3 days inspection period once your FFL revieces it, you'd just be out the cost of shipping. But I guess that is probably $25 on a rifle that heavy.

I'm considering throwing down some cash for a *gasp* Springfield National Match. Forged bolt, GI trigger and hammer, op rod looked like a Springfield, priced at $1800 NIB. Kinda on the fence about this one. Price seemed ok, but couldn't ID the barrel.

I actually started looking at an LRB but can't take the wait. Fulton's M14 was also on the radar, but decided I can't give money to Clint any longer.

Someone talk some sense into me. Should I or shouldn't I?
