Just got done with it and what kind of lpk fits this receiver. The bolt catch/release is threaded and not usual roll pin.

It's happens bro, just load it up and it should be fine.

My first lower has a dip in the PG area cause my end mill slipped out of adjustment. Lucky tho cause any other area and I would probably have a 3rd hole too.

You know, when I saw "AR lower with extra hole" this was not what I was expecting.

Every lower that I've ever had that used a threaded bolt catch pin, came with it.

Standard LPKs don't come with those pins.

Looks like they are available commercially although I can't guarantee compatibility.
One-piece threaded bolt catch pin in stainless steel with black oxide coating and 6-32 threads. Fits the AR-15 and .308 LR bolt catch and ambi switch.

Ok will start looking for proper bolt catch then. Seen them and look fancier than regular ones.

What's up with the hole in front of the trigger slot not being centered (and being there, in general)?

Google "threaded bolt catch pin" and you'll find lots of options on Amazon.com for instance.

AR 10 same diameter, just threaded.

Thanks for the PiCs ...good work

When I was drilling out the pocket I went a little to far so this is why there is a whole there. Going to use that hole as a debris dumper......haha

Fill the hole with jb weld or machine area out and press fit .090 match aluminum plate in and redo trigger slot or take to gun buyback like I did and get a hundred buck ralphs card and don't screw up the next one.

I was expecting something else from your thread title also.

Looks like your first one? We all gotta start somewhere. Mine has a couple of extra holes too, just in a different spot. You kinda got close to the mag release hole also. Still, looks like a job well done. Especially for not using a jig.

Now you just need a better camera.
