    My Thanksgiving plans...

I'm heading to Vegas for Thanksgiving and since I am not 21 yet, theres not alot I can do there. So I plan on taking my AR to pass some time. I have a Prince50 installed on it and will finally get to back that set screw out and use my rifle the way god intended.

Can I purchase a few 30 rounders while I am there, use the hell out of them to get it out of my system, disassemble them, and return to CA with the kits?

As far I know, here is no law against owning repair kits or parts as long I dont manufacture a magazine.

Anything I should know regarding my plans, transporting a rifle, or 30 rd kits??

    Dear California,
I love you. I was born and raised in you. You have given me some of the best times of my life. Now with that said, I can not wait to move!

As long as they return as disassembled parts, and you don't reassemble them within the state, you are good to go.

Well I guess I will find out for all of us then. I dont see why it would matter to them though, a sale is a sale.

                      I have to work.....

btw, pawn shops have no issues selling mags. I bought quite a few kits in reno/carson city.
Just remember it's rude not to haggle in a pawn shop.

Are there any references to that suggestion?

There are several threads floating around backing that statement up. Thats where I got my info. Here are a few:
