Ok, so basically my DW Bobtail is more of a Smith&Wesson than a CZ.

CZ aquired Dan Wesson's custom shop...Kind of like if Colt were to buy out Les Baer in the future... Cept DW was known more for his revolvers and while the early generations were great, quality control became somewhat spotty. By all accounts, quality has gone up across the board after the acquisition.

I would say you bobtail is definitely more CZ then Smith.

Sure, if your DW was manufacturered prior to 1996 or 2005, depending on how literal you interpret the name.

yeah but Bob Serva of now of FUSION 1911's was running Dan Wesson until a few years ago when CZ took Dan Wesson over.
