Can I DROS from multiple sellers?

I tried the search but need some help here...

Can I buy two or more guns from different sellers and use just a single DROS?

I have two scenarios for examples...

    1. I buy a pistol from a dealer and another pistol from a private party, both through the same FFL. Can I use one DROS? Not worried about 30 days here since second pistol is PPT.

    2. I buy a lower from a retailer ( NDS ) from an FFL and then buyer a couple rifles and pistols from a couple of other private sellers, but they are shipped to my FFL from another city IN California.

Are either OK? Any red flags here?

1: I think all pistols have to be on separate DROSes. Plus, in order to be entitled to the 30-day exemption, the PPT DROS must be marked as such, so that may be a double-reason why it needs to be on a separate DROS.

    2. All those rifles should be able to DROSed on one DROS if they are at the dealer at the same time. Any rifles shipped to the dealer would logged as inventory, not as a a PPT, so they could all be DROSed at the same time as the lower purchased from him. Now, he could charge you whatever transfer fee he wanted to for the shipped-in receivers. The Pistols still have to be separately DROSed.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

This is debatable. Some dealers will let you add a long gun to a pistol DROS and put the firearms on the same 4473. I choose not to as it seems to be a gray area with the state and the $25 savings isn't worth me getting dinged over.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.
