I'm just wondering if it's legal to own a bullet proof vest or body armor in California. I'm sure there are stipulations, but if it's legal were is a good place to get it other than the gun show (which I didn't see any at the Ventura County show). THANKS!!!!

If you're not a felon, on probation/parole, or not wearing armor during the commission of a crime, you're gtg.
Online dealer susally have the best prices, but make sure you have someone properly measure your dimensions to ensure you get a proper fit.
The same rule that applies to motorcycle helmets applies to body armor, to parphrase:
