buy long gun question

Hi...

I want to buy long gun(rifle) in next 2-3 day but I just DROS new handgun yesterday(from gun shop)

do it will be count as 30 day per month ? or it ok I can buy and DROS long gun now ?

and at one time how many long gun U can buy in one Dros paper(new at gun shop) ?

this item is new in shop not PPT or consingment

p.s. sorry I just didn't bought long gun(rifle) for pass 4 yeas or more.

AFAIK, the 30 day wait is for new handguns only.

If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will be along shortly to correct me.

1 in 30 only applies to handguns sold from dealer inventory, PPT is excluded.

You can buy as many long guns as you want on a single DROS.

Because we are a border state your LGS has to report multiple purchases made within 5 days of certain firearms (pistols and center-fire detachable magazine rifles) to the ATF (this should be illegal by the way.) This has no impact on you realistically, your gun store is forced to do it, nothing is required of you.

I rather like burdening those fools at ATF and saving money on DROS, so buy all your vehicle can carry.

thank for all your reply... I thinking same thing only 30days/mo. only for handgun and not count on long gun .

I just want to be sure b/c this shop had the one I want it 50 mil away.

do not want to make trip and can not Dros. it....I just may be take only 1 or may be 2 , but not sure need to see it first. how that wood stock look.

Handguns only.
You can buy as many long guns and "other" (bare lowers, pistol grip shotguns, etc...) and PPT handgun transfers as your wife will allow.
