Press coverage Heller vs. Gay marriage

The big supreme court story in the press is the recent decision regarding state laws that ban gay marriage. I was reminded how much the mainstream news media is agains us gun owners and the 2nd Amendment just by reading and listening to the press coverage. When the Supreme Court makes a ruling that says gay marriage bans are unconstititional, it's a milestone for civil rights. When the Supreme Court ruled in Heller that the 2nd Amendment is an individual right and Washington DC can't ban guns, the press covered the story from the angle of how the case would affect crime and gun control, without a mention of constitutional rights.

Bias in the media? What bias?

I hate to tell you boys this ... But the media is also a slave to public opinion in order to sell advertising.

Unless your a closet case fighting temptation, I don't see where what gay people are doing makes any difference in any straight man's life....other than less competition for females...

It makes a difference to a pastor who will be jailed for 180 days and fined a $1000 a day he does not perform a *** marriage.

My thoughts exactly. Who gives a **** what another person does with their life as long as it doesn't affect anyone else.

Freedom for all, now when can I CCW a suppressed G18?

            Get off my lawn!

I agree with Ronin2, this decision will not not have an affect on that many lives, because only 1.6% of the population are homosexuals. Yes, the militant homosexual community will use it as a weapon on the Christian community, but we will have to fight each of those battles as they come.

I believe the agendas of marketing homosexuals and calling for the banning of the Stars and Bars, are experiments by the media to determine the extent of influence they have over our population. Unfortunately, they have a strong influence, and I intend to do everything I can to reduce their income.

1.6% of the population enjoys the support of the new media and has their causes championed by the President, who lit up the White House in rainbow colors at night. Gun owners are, I guess, about 35% of the American population, but we get treated as criminals and a threat to society by the media. We're doing some thing wrong here. Making more noise and drawing attention to our cause doesn't help; we still don't have shall issue CCW in CA and open carry was banned. We need to figure something out or the future isn't going to be pleasant for our kids and grandkids.

That's a clear sign of phallic entanglement. Just a little more and we'll get international recognition!!!

@dwtt, I agree with you. In my opinion, the homosexuals have pulled a coup on the American people. Their campaign to be accepted has been a result of first class marketing. They select attractive people, wearing expensive business suits, that are very well spoken to appear on TV and other media outlets to present their community in a very positive light, and the media plays along. They present themselves as victims of those who are narrow minded, ignorant and hateful. They declare they just want to be loved, accepted and included. It is hard to argue with these points.

What the homosexual community and the media do not show us are the degenerate sexual practices of the homosexual community, the men trolling public bathrooms, and that homosexual community has one of the highest rates of suicide.

28% of homosexual men had more than 1000 partners. That 79% of homosexual men say over half of sex partners are strangers. That the modal range for homosexual sex partners is 101-500. https://carm.org/statistics-homosexual-promiscuity
