Ammo Cans in the Bay Area

Shipping and handling, would make purchasing empty 5.56 or 0.5 calib. ammo cans online not worthwhile. Does anyone know which stores in the Bay Area sell empty ammo cans that are typically used for storage?

    thanks in advance

You can get them at the gun shows.

There's a show in Vallejo the first weekend in December.

At the last show, a guy brought a bunch up to Miwall as he bought a bunch of ammo. Don't know if they gave him something for em or not. Maybe a little discount on his latest purchase? Anyway, the shows are the only place i've seen em for sale (empty that is).

Mountain View Surplus has 30 cal cans for about $8. 50 cal were $15 or so.

The surplus store on San Pablo in Berkely usually sells ammo cans. They work great for storing tools
