My 2014 CZ75 and 2015 CZ97 have black finished barrels, by "bright stainless" you mean "in the white" and not finished?

Just picked up an SP-01 last week and I noticed it had a black finished (my prior SP-01s were stainless). I wonder when they made the change

Picked up one last summer 2014 n it had a black barrel

Both of my recently acquired SP01s and P01 have the black barrel also, but they come off easily as I polished one SP01 and the P01 to a stainless shine.

My 2013 production SP01 has a stainless barrel, while my 2014 production SP01 has black barrel. Maybe this can help a little?

As far as preference, I don't think one is preferred over the other, although I could be wrong.

The ejection port area of my standard SP-01 from 2014 has a bright barrel, my 2015 SP-01 Tactical (decocker) has a black barrel.
