Why 2 mags? Unless it's a registered AW, it must have a fixed mag. Last time I checked, SKS mags were easier to topload, than removing the FCG to load the mag.

eta* why not just use the factory fixed mag? They work great.

WOW, Centerfire sent you mags for an SKS? I tried to order a receiver top with with scope rings and they won't ship it to California.

Ive heard of very few aftermarket SKS magazines that work. I still have two hi-cap models in my parts box and only one of them works reliably.

It's a Yugo, not a SKS. So, detacthable mags are OK, as long as, you don't have any evil fetures on it.

I only shoot on private land. So having detachable mags, noone will ever see, If I ever go to a range with it, I will put the fixed mag in, as it only take a mintue to install. If I could get 30rnd mags I would do that, but cant get those, damn cali laws.

Try the Tapco 10/20 fixed polymer magazine. They are meant to be the best of the aftermarket SKS mags. I recently bought one, but haven't had a chance to test it at the range yet.

I like my Yugo 59/66 just fine in stock config.

The yugo 'sks' is actually a zastrava 59 or zaxtrava 59/66, it is not actually an "sks' since the only ones that were designated that from the factory were the russian and chinese ones.

i don't know about 10 round mags, but I've owned just about every possible type of high cap sks magazine and there were only a few which worked reliably (none of which are made anymore).

I've heard good things about the tapco mags however

As long as it's a Yugo, it's not an SKS and, therefore, it's NOT ILLEGAL to run detachable mags! So, although illegal is illegal even on private land, you are not thinking of doing anything illegal buy running detachable mags on your yugo as long as you don't have any "evil features" on it.
