    Springfield XDS

Why are there so many of these for sale? I see a lot of the 3.3 inch barrel 45's for sale for around $800. Is the recoil too much to handle? Did they buy cheap, trying to make some money?

They did 1 of 2 things, bought them as sse with the plan to resale and make profit. Or they purchased and realized it wasn't for them. Most likely it's due to purchasing with a plan to make some profit do to its unattainable status now.

Is it the recoil that most people don't like. I am looking to buy one but I only have 9mm

I got one too and would never sell it.

I sold a ton of theese during the sse craze. Everyone wanted one. The thing i did not like about them was the grip texture. it was painful to grab in heavilty callsed hands. and like others I would not shoot it for sheet

Easily remedied, my man. Talon rubber grip tape and it's lovely. Mine hits exactly where I want it to.

This $20 for the Talon grips. Seeing the prices I think many are just trying to turn a profit. Mine is my EDC, I'd have to spend over $1000 to find a carry weapon I liked as much.

XDS 45ACP is one of the best CCW guns around. But it's not a gun you go out to the range with friends to have fun. Gun isn't fun to shoot more then a box of ammo thru.

I'm very happy with my XDs-9. I find it easy to shoot and the recoil is manageable even with +P loads. I find it easier to shoot than the EMP I sold to purchase it. I've put on a Talon rubber grip since this picture.

                            I also have the 3.3 XDs 9mm.
Runs fine with HP ammo I use.

For a CCW gun, it works.
