By "lower receiver" I assume you mean "frame"? I think there is an aftermarket aluminum Glock frame on the market. Try here http://www.ccfraceframes.com/options.phpLast edited by berg; 06-15-2015, 10:08 PM.__________________________________________________ _____________________________________

The 23 upper will fit and work on 19/23/32 frames, just use glock 23 mags, the 19 frame will probably eject fine, you may want to change the ejector if you use a 32 frameComment

Build one from a flat
sigpicOriginally posted by gun toting monkeyboyYou did ask. They were only following your instructions. Next time be a bit more careful in how you phrase your posts. If you give people a straight line like that, this is about the level of response you are bound to get. Just be glad you didn't post "Date this rifle"... Those pictures are usually very disturbing.

See if your (or a) FFL will receive a lower frame: http://www.glockmeister.com/GLOCK-Co...nfo/LOWERCOMP/
Since it's a .40SW, you can have a 9mm and .357SIG barrel caliber conversion as well.Comment

I don't think you got a very good deal, sorry.
Unless you already have a compact Glock frame, or can find a frame through PPT, you'll be in for about what a brand new Glock will cost but will have spent more time/effort. Even if you find a frame you've only saved a few dollars, might as well have just bought a used Glock.Comment

I looked around and the upper is sold for $300 to 350 and I just found a used frame G23 for $90 bucks on GB so I think it's a hell of a deal.I don't think you got a very good deal, sorry.

The few times I've seen complete frames for sale here they were around $250 - $300.
I hope you get by for a lot less, and good luck on the hunt for a frame.
I'd suggest talking with your LGS first before buying anything except a FTF PPT.

I did the exact opposite. I have a 3rd generation 23. Went on gunbroker and got a complete 2nd gen 19 upper assembly with night sights. Now I have a 19 and a 23. Didnt have to change the ejector either. The .40 ejector works great with the 19 slide. I could have just got a 9mm conversion barrel but they look stupid and arent cheap.CRPA and NRA member.

I found a used frame for $90 on GB and I know my dealer real well....Comment

Do note that only complete guns are on the Roster - there are no 'just frames'. That's OK for PPT, since the Roster generally doesn't apply, and one would have to bring that slide assembly in to do the safety demo.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment
