    eBay Sellers Targeted

I just came across these articles today. What are your thoughts?

eBay/PayPal have both always been anti-gun and I never understood why consumers chose to purchase firearm parts through those outlets allowing them to profit off us

    Part 1 of article
For the do-it-yourself crowd, building an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle is as easy as browsing ads on eBay, the online marketplace for everything from vintage dining room sets to video games and, it turns out, assault weapon parts.

    Part 2 follow-up
Reveal recently identified some of the hundreds of assault weapon parts available on eBay despite its policy prohibiting their sale. A review of the company website found that the parts have been removed, sold or reposted.

There's always Gunbroker and other places as well. Article is as silly as eBay policies. If eBay ever really does clamp down harder other sites will fill the void. EBay is much more greedy than anti, believe me.

Well the problem with gunbroker is the prices are way over what ebay sellers sell them at. Its rare that ive found any actual good deals on gunbroker. Or most will rape you in the shipping

Plus Gunbroker has far too many dealers listing everything they have(and often do not have) at full MSRP or more prices. I give up before I spend 3 hours looking for some private party willing to sell item X for a reasonable price. Such as brass/bullets.

I listed my jigs on eBay and they shut it down and gaveme the ban warning. And then had the balls to send me a message asking how I felt about it lol. So I replied and told them thinking I would receive my ban soon. I'm guessing they didn't read it because I'm still good to go lol.

I use eBay/PayPal almost exclusively for gun purchases. I PM the seller and make arrangements to be discreet and no gun words and pay. have purchased entire guns, receivers, parts kits and AR parts doing this. last week I received a Geissele reaction rod, a Vltor buffer assembly and other AR parts from eBay.

I buy a lot of gun parts and accessories from ebay. Because I liive in a no jobs bill country and need every dollar I earn. I don't care what their policies are. I also have never bought something through calguns. I don't agree with all of the political policies of most of the people on here, but came here expexting to get a deal from a fellow gun lover. Ha ha big joke's on me. I havent seen 1 deal here that made me think wow thats the way to tell those anti gunners. A used firearm for less than I can buy a new one for. It's always "Don't like the prices, don't buy it" Never "Hey bud we're on the same side, let's show them!" I know, I know, screw the liberal for reminding us we're all in this together.

I wonder if they are going to change any policy since the Dallas shooter bought his armored car off of E-bay?

Lol, self described Liberal helps cause all of our problems and then pulls the "we're all in this together" BS.

Ebay has a super easy check out process, with tracking number easy to follow.
It's a sophisticated system that is hardly replaceable, unfortunately.

I do use Gunbroker much, but for small parts and accessories eBay is hard to replace.
