    EOTECH SERVICE

My Sons eotech 551 had the batteries start leaking in the eotech. I mean it was a fricken a mess. Springs were jacked up. No matter how much I cleaned it I couldnt get it to work. I am guessing it sat like this for three months. Well, thats the last time it was used.

So I call eotech ready to pay for service or to buy all the replacement parts needed. I told the gent what happened to my kids eotech and the guy said, what part do you need. I basically told him everything minus the eotech itself. I need the rubber seal, springs and caps behind that. Then the battery carrier. He asked for my address. I got out the credit card and then he said parts will be shipped . No charge sir. I thought that was really cool and great service.

God Bless our Men and Women of the armed forces.

For the $400+ most Eotechs cost, anything less than that quality of service would be unthinkable.

Not for damage caused by the user, the fact that they sent out all the parts free of charge shows that they go above and beyond in backing their products and value their customers.

Old post resurrection but it almost reassures me about EOTech's customer service because I may be purchasing one in the coming months.

If you're not gonna use it for a while, take the batteries out.

Thanks for the input. I would definitely want to save myself the trouble of having parts replacing. When all is said and done with my next build, I hope I will be shooting at least 3 times a week. Looks like this next build is going to run about 1500. I have a few parts ready to go so far but everything will be stored in a custom cutout Pelican. I am taking this build tot he grave.

EOTech has a 2 year warranty stated on their website but when i acquired warranty work on my 4 year old 552 model they gladly toked it back and fixed it under warranty.
