Stupid shipping prices - Bait and switch (CTD)

Slick Guns posted a deal for Armscor 00 buckshot at Cheaper than Dirt. $50 for 250 rounds. $.20 a round! Great deal! Then I see shipping: $36.58. The shipping alone adds 75% more to the price. WTF? Oh, sure, I can buy 6 cases. 1500 rounds. Then shipping only adds 50% to the price.

Not going to happen.

Aaaaand now you know how CTD operates. They suck you in with a low price leader tease and then rape you on the back end with crazy shipping fees. That's not exactly unique though. For many companies one of their best profit centers is shipping and handling. Take your shopping dollars elsewhere when you find craziness like this.

CTD is even a bigger rip-off on shipping then most companies, since even when multiple items are all in stock for your order, they all seem to need to be shipped from a DIFFERENT warehouse and thus generate separate shipping fees.

Yeah, CTD can be bastards with their shipping prices, which is what keeps me from doing business with then more often than not. Don't really care about their anti-California attitude like some of the guys around here. We deserve to be **** on fir allowing our lawmakers to continue breathing, if you ask me.

Still, a good deal can be found there from time to time. Usually when someone screws up and posts the wrong price for two hours before fixing it though.
