    Thoughts on new HK VP40?

Help me decide if I need another HK in .40 after P30S. Any of you guys plan to buy it? And if so, why?
    Appreciate your input.

I turned them down the last few weeks. Not really interested in .40.

Can you do a barrel swap for caliber conversion?

No. The frame is the same as the VP9 but the slide is different. If you can get your hands on the slide, barrel and recoil assembly you could do a caliber conversion. But HK will not sell you the slide unless it's part of a repair, and they keep the old one.

Went back today for a closer look and I can't resist the trigger pull. It transforms in to accuracy and VP40 here wins. Although it has fatter slide than P30, I hear it's made to be durable and to take abuse. It's no brainer really.

Here's somebody without an empty skull. 9 or .45 is the way to go.
