If you don't shoot one of those guns much, much better I suggest the VP9.

Honestly those are all great choices but depending on weight I'd probably pick the heaviest of the 3. Great looking set ups you have there.

The one that's most reliable and the one you don't mind them hanging onto for evidence. It may or may not be in the same condition when it's returned to you.

I have a XD 40 with a surefire light, and 10 round mags in a lock box on my head board. All other guns are in big heavy fireproof safes. If some one breaks into the house and takes it, I'm only out about $400. If I were to have to use it, it would be gone in evidence for months to years, so would not want to use a expensive or custom gun.

The 92A1 because it's fraggin cool looking. Any intruder would most likely stop in his tracks and gaze at its beauty.

What, no option for a Zorg Industries ZF1? It'll destroy your enemy and by now I'm sure it has an option to cook you bacon as well.

I'd choose the one I shoot the best and I am most comfortable with.

These two replies are the best answers for this question. Don't look at it as, "Which one of my favorite, custom guns do I want to use for home defense?" Look at it as, "Which reliable gun am I proficient enough with to use in a highly stressful situation, and then basically kiss goodbye, since it will be taken away from me and held for evidence for a LOOOOONG time?"

The gun I use for home defense was relatively inexpensive, and is comfortable in my hand. I shoot well with it, and if I ever had to lose it for an investigation, I could easily replace it.

Also agree not to use one you are attached to. Just find one you are comfortable using and accurate with. Same with concealed carry, my bedside gun is an xd40 with a surefire and a mossberg 500 ready as well, if I get my ccw I have a kahr cw9 that will fit perfectly.

                              wait hang on, real quick.

If that is an all german x5, i definetly would not be using that as my bedside gun.

1, that will be a collectors piece down the road, since the import ban, and if you got a german one here, its one of not very many.

2, theres better options, your, HK VP9
