Well, I got a new job not too long ago as a tutor/baby sitter to two teenage boys and since last Tuesday was Veteran's Day, I figured that it would be appropriate to take them to the range and teach them how to shoot (parents were OK with it... hehe).
Here is what our target board looked like after we were done.

Some of the stickers are a few stickers deep so not all the holes are showing, but after getting them used to the guns we toned it down and shot for smallest groups and such. It was really really fun!
Then tonight, I went out rat hunting again. Poor little bastards, I have just been on their tails like nobody's business. School and a girlfriend might solve it, but the urge to scourge the place of vermin is an overpowering one. As it is, I am on number 33 for second week (second week just started) and I feel that my dent in the population is still fairly minuscule.
Here are the pics from tonight.
I throw them on the road for the other vermin and carrion eaters to get.

Baby rat. Got him in the calf pen from about 3 yds.

Grandma rat. Got her from about 7yds outside the calf pen.
