      it was just the cache and it was in spanish i dont know if it talked about details. they were ps90s not p90s if i rember right.

        I posted a response and analysis of the article here on my blog:


        Needless to say, it's a bad sign. The cartels are well-armed, ready to fight, and have top of the line staffing, in many cases taken directly from Mexico and Guatemala's special forces. They now have better equipment than most armies, and a huge revenue source driving the arms purchases and caching.

        Given the delay in implementing the Merida initiative, and the extent to which cartels have corrupted the Mexican government and society, it may be too late to stop the disaster that is going on down there. I predict this will be our next war after the war on Terror, or a continuation of it. Think Pershing and Pancho Villa, times 100.

        I'd also point out that this is one of the major threats to our RKBA and 2nd amendment rights -- It's idiots from the U.S. who are arming these guys (mostly people in AZ and Texas), and are making responsible gun owners look bad. The cartels don't need to buy from other sources, because clowns here are doing straw purchases for them and getting them U.S.-legal guns. If anyone thinks Obama's administration might try to take away AW's, look here first, because this is what is going to bite us all in the a**. People from the U.S. who supply the cartels ruin our gun rights, because this is the kind of misuse of the RKBA that ends up getting the next AW ban passed under the "patriotic" guise of "fighting terror".

          The Five-Seven and the P90 shoot a 5.7 mm-by-28 mm round that has been shown to be effective in penetrating body armor as well as vehicle doors and windows.
          The body armor penetrating capability of these weapons depends highly on the ammo used, a 9mm will penetrate body armor if you use the right round. Somehow I doubt that these cartels are getting the armor piercing rounds.

                Really?

                I've never met any gun owner who also owned 150 grenades, a LAW rocket and launcher, or any grenade launchers.

                So how are these idiots in AZ and Texas getting grenades?

                      I'd put my money on some jackwad in the Army or National Guard selling stuff he/she "erased" from the books or marked down as used in training, or just lost. Sadly, not everyone in uniform is a patriot.
