LOL. That will probably save him from answering a lot of stupid e-mails. I should have had him design my website.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.

Looking at the AW flowchart, it appears this particular item is listed by make and model (Appendix A & B).

I know, I'm kind of missing the humor of the ad. I just think it's funnier that at least this CalGunner is agreeing with him.

Thats the point, the guys probably puts it on all his ads with AR receivers.

That I dont doubt. Ive tried to make several purchases off GunBroker and the sellers refused to ship to CA... and we were dealing with bolt action rifles!
              Dear California,
I love you. I was born and raised in you. You have given me some of the best times of my life. Now with that said, I can not wait to move!

They might not want to participate in the CFLC process.

Which you know the interesting thing I was thinking about the other day is an out of state dealer could simply make up some CFLC numbers and and as long as they were generally in line with the current numbers, there is nothing anyone could do to a shipping dealer. The entire penalty phase of CFLC is with the receiver. I have no way to check if a CFLC is actually valid and there is no requirement for them to send the letter.

Of course it would take some effort to figure out roughly which CFLC number would be believable right now and that much effort is more than just signing up for the system and being legit.

It used to be only calguns.net, I'm honestly not sure when calguns.com was setup. I suspect it was some time after Kestryll took over, but I can't even be sure of that.

                      So...

The guy is selling a make/model named assault weapon.

If it was registered (doesn't sound like it is), doesn't it have to be sold through a CA 01-FFL dealer with an assault weapon permit?

If it is not registered, isn't the seller advertising the fact that he is in possession of an unregistered assault weapon in CA?

Maybe, he thinks calguns is wrong in that since it's just the reciever it's not considered an assault weapon.

He claims to be an 01.
                          I am an FFL dealer
Presumably he has an AW permit as well. If it's registered, he still needs one...
