It's not Hollywood movie. People don't drop dead after one gunshot in the torso. Unless it's a headshot. The human body is amazing, it will keep running until adrenaline runs out. As reported, the suspect died after and the other two were arrested

I have been a paramedic in Alameda County for 25 yrs. I have seen a lot of GSWs. That must have been a small caliber weapon. I have never seen a patient run like that after being shot and likely hemmoraging internally.

I agree with you. It could very well be a small caliber handgun. Or maybe the shots were so close. They went straight through without tumbling. I'm no trauma doctor. I'm just speculating.

Actually I always tell people exactly that. Half the time from what I've seen people didn't even know they were shot until later. After the rounds stopped flying or you got done running. So seems legit to me.
