Sig P320 question about the trigger

ok, im going to try and make this as clear as possible since the 320 is new to me.

So if I rack the slide (empty... haven't shot it yet) and pull the trigger its feels great, and no problems.

with the same dummy round in there in pulled the trigger again and although not as pronounced as when you rack it/fire it you can get a click where the release is and the a minor click where the rest is.

as far as i know and have researched the p320 doesn't have send strike capabilities but curious what that second click is? is it normal?

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Perfectly normal. Remove the slide and pull the trigger, and you'll see what's causing the noise. It's been extensively discussed over at Sig Forum.

        Ditto.
If I recall, I think it is part of the reset mechanism, that will operate regardless of the striker mechanism.

Also be aware that if you take the slide off, that you need to lock it back when you reinstall it...otherwise the trigger won't reset
