Moved from Ky to California 10/2013. Still new to the area I guess and the laws. (crazy how different it really is)
Anyways, I'm looking at trying to get in a PC832 class. I'm going to use my VA benefits for the Post Certificate, but up here they don't have a class until later this year. I'd like to get something sooner rather than later. I'm up in the Sacramento area and looking at ARC for the Post Class. But I want/need a better paying job and I've found some places worth looking into, but they require a PC832 and not my Guard Card/Exposed Firearm permits.
Anyone have any leads into anything soon? Or where I can turn to? Know of anyone who could give me some advice?
I worked for the Federal Government as an Armed Guard at Fort Knox. Worked on their MP Special Reaction Team as a civilian, Did 3 years Active Duty Infantry with a Deployment to Iraq, work for a sensitive site here in California as an Armed Guard, have a secret security clearance, and California treats me like I'm a North Korean or something.
