    We just dealt with trying to have a range opened in San Diego. I'll tell you this much, make sure you set aside money for a lobbyist, otherwise there's no way in hell you'll open a new range

      Would not consider owning, starting or taking over any sort of public range. EPA city & county BS, not to mention insurance & dealing with the public, not for me!

        I too would love to own my own range, but, as others have said, here in Ca. You have way too much beurocratic crap to put up with, remember the Reloading Center in North Hills, they were litterally run out of business by the state and the city.

        It's a shame what goes on here.
